DSIPMAX
DSIP
5 vials x 5 mg
DSIPMAX (DSIP or Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide) is a naturally occurring regulatory nonapeptide
originally isolated from the cerebral venous blood of rabbits in a state of induced
deep sleep. It easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and binds to neuromodulatory
sites within the thalamic and hypothalamic nuclei. Rather than acting as a direct
central nervous system depressant or GABA receptor agonist, it functions as an
adaptogenic rheostat that normalizes EEG delta-wave generation, balances
serotonin and norepinephrine turnover, and downregulates the secretion of
corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) and systemic ACTH.
